The Sims 4 Nifty Knitting: Unlocking Knittable Objects and Clothing Right Away

The Sims 4 Nifty Knitting Stuff Pack comes with a great amount of new clothing in Create A Sim and Build Objects. However, even though that new CAS clothing is presentable in the CAS User Interface with the lock on letting you know what’s required for you to unlock a certain piece of clothing / swatch, for Build Objects, not much is shown and you might get an impression that there aren’t many objects in the catalogue.

If you want to skip out on unlocking Knittable Clothing and have all the locked clothing and swatched unlocked for you right away, simply access the cheat console and use the cas.unlockbytag SP17 cheat. This cheat will immediately unlock all the locked clothing for your entire household. However, please note that after using this cheat you won’t be able to revert and lock back the knittable clothing.

In case the knittable clothing doesn’t get unlocked right away after applying the cheat, make sure you switch back between clothing categories to make sure the changes are applied.

If you want to skip out on the process of knitting every single Build Object and their swatches and simply place down the objects from Build Mode, simply use the bb.showhiddenobjects cheat and access the Content > Debug object filter. You’ll find the Nifty Knitting objects more easily if you also use the Nifty Knitting objects filter!
