All Is True

This historical biopic follows the final days of the legendary English writer, William Shakespeare. Shortly after the burning of the theatre during a performance of his play about Henry VIII, the Bard of Stratford retires to his hometown. Expecting a peaceful retirement, Shakespeare instead faces the challenges of family drama and long-buried personal demons. Amidst vivid scenes of life in 17th century England, the famous playwright struggles with the universal issues that face all artists at the end of life.
