Little Joe
Single mother Alice Woodward works for a company as senior scientist and plant breeder. Her latest success has been the creation of a species of plant that can literally make people happy with its scent. The plant has not only mood-lifting, but also anti-depressant properties.
When the species exceeds all expectations in a laboratory setting, Alice decides to ignore company safety protocols and give her son, Joe, one of the plants. All that the plant requires to open its crimson petals and make someone happy is regular food, light and companionship.
Yet, as the new species grows both at home and the lab, Alice begins to suspect that she’s made a terrible mistake.
