Drone Workforce Solutions approved by US Dept of Veteran Affairs to teach its vets drone technology
DWS announces today that it has been approved by the United States Department of Veteran Affairs to teach America’s veterans, through the GI bill, its drone technology training program, Virtual Reality and 3D Virtualization training program, and Agricultural and Forestry Drone Collected Imagery training program. DWS provides these technologies through its technology school www.dwsdroneschool.com.
In a statement today, CEO Theo Nix, Jr., Esq., said, “We are excited to partner with the US Dept. of Veteran Affairs to train and employ and then deploy thousands of veterans around the country and around the world in drone and other technologies. We owe a great debt to our veterans and DWS intends to do its part, as a global employment company, to employ our vets in highly paid and sustainable jobs.”
Drone Workforce Solutions, LLC (DWS), a global employment and staffing company for providing drone technology services and its applications, announced previously the launch of our global drone pilot portal to help provide significant and sustainable drone pilot jobs in drone technology to its global corporate, business and government partners. In this portal, we provide fully vetted and FAA Part 107 certified commercial pilots with a full administrative backend that allows us to send our pilots on jobs around the world. This vetting system gives our corporate and government clients a comfort level they don’t otherwise currently have from the drone pilot service industry.
DWS has already launched a global Apple and Google APP for our DWS vetted pilots which allows DWS to send information electronically to our drone pilots which includes the job location, client, length of time of the job, the type of drone and accessories required and the pay rate. The pilot will then electronically inform us of their availability.
DWS has been approved to provide both drone inspections and drone training services to one of the largest utility companies in the country which has many affiliate companies as part of the parent company. Additionally, DWS has been in negotiations to perform drone utility and agricultural services, mining, medical deliveries and other kinds of drone services and to provide drone and other technologies training in various countries in this country and abroad.
Theo Nix, Jr. Esq., is currently Co-Founder, CEO and President of Drone Workforce Solutions, LLC. Attorney Nix has worked in the international corporate arena for many years, including as corporate counsel for a Fortune 100 global company, where he has performed transactional work and negotiated mega business deals and will use those international relationships to collaborate with governments, businesses and corporations around the country and globally to employ Americans, especially or veterans, as drone operators in the field of drone technology.
Nix is a big proponent of Workforce Development and the need to retrain and employ Americans at all levels, especially our Veterans, through the use of drone technology and its applications for a new global world.
Says Nix, “DWS intends to pay some of the highest rates to our pilots in the drone industry.
Why, because they deserve it and we have the international contacts and means to do so”.
