Two eccentric characters fall in love during this quirky examination of modern life in smalltown U.S.A. Retired systems analyst, Ed spends his days preparing for what he believes is the inevitable apocalypse. While on a mission to a local grocery store to stock up on doomsday supplies, Ed meets shopaholic hoarder, Ronnie. After a few botched attempts at getting together, the two embark on a whirlwind senior romance. Watching the pair navigate the trails of each other’s obsessions makes for an oddly heartwarming tale.
