Best Galaxy Note 9 Deals in May 2019
The upcoming Galaxy Note 10 phone could arrive with a bigger sibling in tow, so it’s on track to being a massive release, literally. However, if you don’t want to to wait for Samsung’s next phablet to arrive or if you’re looking for means to get the most value for your buck, the Note 9 is still a solid choice.
Currently, Samsung has the unlocked Galaxy Note 9 for $799.99 ($200 off). Don’t want to shell out all that cash outright? You can save up to $300 off with select trade-ins.
Alternatively, Amazon has the Unlocked 128GB Samsung Galaxy Note 9 for $705 ($295 off). That’s $95 under Samsung’s price and the best price we’ve ever seen for Samsung’s phablet.
Here’s a look at other ways you can get the Galaxy Note 9 on the cheap.
Amazon
Amazon is offering the Unlocked 128GB Samsung Galaxy Note 9 for $705. That’s $295 off and the second best price we’ve ever seen for this unlocked phone.
Samsung
In addition to the carrier discounts available on Samsung’s website, the phone manufacturer also lets you trade-in a phone to reap even more savings. Samsung offers up to $300 in trade-in value depending on the phone you have to offer. (Newer devices fetch a better return.)
Best Buy
Best Buy is selling the unlocked Note 9 for $699.99, which undercuts Samsung’s current price by $100. It’s also offering bigger savings when you buy a carrier-tied version of the phone and pay for it in monthly installments.
Sprint
Although Sprint isn’t offering any special Galaxy Note 9 deals, you can lease one from them at the rate of $41.67/mo. under the Sprint 18-month Flex plan. This unique wireless plan lets you upgrade to a new phone after 18 months or buy your Note 9 outright if you opt to keep it.
AT&T
AT&T continues to offers its Galaxy Phone deal that nets you a free S10e when you buy a second Galaxy phone. To get this deal, you must purchase a Note 9, Galaxy S10 or S9 phone and activate it under AT&T’s Next leasing program.
The second device you purchase must be of equal or lesser value.
Verizon
Verizon is not currently offering any Note 9 specific deals, however, you can still save some money if you shop at Big Red. For a limited time, you can get up to $450 off when you trade-in an eligible device and open a new line with Verizon.
Alternatively, if you switch to Verizon and choose its Unlimited plan, you can get a $200 Prepaid Mastercard.
T-Mobile
Purchase the Galaxy Note 9 from the Un-carrier and they’ll put $360 back into your pocket. You must trade in an eligible device to receive a one-time credit followed by monthly bill credits for the remainder.
Eligible phones for trade-in include various models from the Note 4 to the original iPhone 5c. Just keep in mind that T-Mobile requires a $150 down payment with the lease of the Note 9 on an installment plan. You’ll then pay $31.25 for 24 months.
Even better, for a limited time, you’ll get free 2-day shipping with your new activation when you use the code, “2DAY” at checkout.
