New on Netflix: November 2018 Releases
November is an interesting time in the enterainment calendar and Netflix’s New Releases for November 2018 reflect that.
We’re all just getting over the excitment of the Halloween season and despite how passionate fans of Thanksgiving may feel, we’re now in what could charitably be called the “pre-Christmas” season. What’s a streaming service to do? Keep the good creepy times rolling or get ready for holiday cheer? Netflix has decided just to go ahead and do a bit of everything.
Netflix is debuting another round of heavy-hitting originals in November that includes House of Cards Season 6, Narcos: Mexico, and F is for Family Season 3. And if that weren’t enough, intriguing first seasons of She-Ra and the Princesses of Power and The Kominsky Method arrive in November as well.
It’s a relativley slow month on the original film front with only really The Ballad of Buster Scruggs looking exciting, barring any unexpected gems. Perhaps that’s because Netflix is well and truly getting ready for the holiday season in November. Angela’s Christmas and The Holiday Calendar debut early in the month with Chris Columbus’s Kurt Russell as Santa epic The Christmas Chronicles arriving at month’s end.
All in all, it should be a good month for Netflix originals but those with a weird Netflix original phobia can always watch Children of Men.
