Daredevil Season 3 Villain Apparently Confirmed

Daredevil fans, rejoice. After a long spell without the Devil Of Hell’s Kitchen featuring in his very own show on Netflix, the streaming service is deep in post-production on season 3 of its flagship Marvel series, after filming wrapped in June.

A new image surfaced via CBR  that appears to confirm rumors that have been doing the rounds for a while. Spoilers ahead…

Yes, it appears that new cast addition Wilson Bethel will be playing the role of Bullseye, a classic Daredevil villain…

The caption on Charlie Cox’s personal trainer’s Instagram post seems to pretty much confirm it, there!

A somewhat unintentionally hilarious version of Bullseye arrived on the big screen back in 2003 in the shoes of our intermittently beloved son, Colin Farrell, in the Ben Affleck-starring Daredevil film, but it will be interesting to see what the series will do with the character. Bethel was originally said to be cast as “an FBI agent who will play a critical role in the conflict between Matt Murdock and Wilson Fisk” in season 3, but maybe he’s both, and maybe it’ll take him a while to go full villain? We’ll be watching to find out, of course.

Bullseye was an important part of the “Born Again” storyline, and there are lots of indications that Daredevil Season 3 will take inspiration from that.

More on Daredevil season 3 as we hear it.
