Money Heist Part 3 – Picture: Netflix

The number of non-English titles has grown exponentially in recent years as Netflix continues its expansion into the global market. Standing tall amongst the growing crowd of titles is the Spanish Original Money Heist. With Part 3 of Money Heist confirmed to be on the way here’s everything you need to know on its upcoming release, including the Netflix release date, plot, cast, and the trailer.

Money Heist or La Casa de Papel is a Netflix Original Spanish crime-drama series created by Alex Pina. The series started on the Antena 3 channel in Spain but was picked up for worldwide release by Netflix. Alex Pina has since signed on to create shows and movies exclusively for Netflix. Considered as the best non-English Original on the streaming service, the series popularity boomed thanks to Netflix.

Antena 3 had originally intended Money Heist to be a limited series, but after being picked up by Netflix the series they renewed Money Heist for a third part.

A group of masked thieves enacts a plan to take hostages and lock themselves inside the Royal Mint of Spain. The goal is to steal €2.4 Billion but first, they have to print the money. Meanwhile, the mastermind behind the group known as ‘The Professor’ is manipulating the Police force of Madrid ensuring his plans are carried out.

Netflix announced the news the third series was in production in October 2018. Part 3 had wrapped filming back in March 2019.

As of June 2019, the series is now fully complete with Netflix now ramping up its promotion of the series.

What to expect from Money Heist Part 3

*SPOILERS FOR PART 2*

The thieves were successful in printing over €1 Billion, but not without the loss of members of the team. Just narrowly able to escape from the Madrid police force, the team and the Professor escaped with their loot, disappearing without a trace. It wasn’t until a year later that Raquel received a postcard with co-ordinates leading her to reunite with the professor.

Money Heist part 3 – TAMARA ARRANZ / Netflix

Speaking to FormulaTV Jesús Colmenar, one of the producers gave us insights into part 3. “The Professor ended up in Palawan, in the Philippines, and I would like to think that he is not a flashy guy and that he lives a normal life there. He took all this money more as a blow to the system than for personal enjoyment,”.

With the amount of money stolen by the team and the professor, there will be an international manhunt for every person involved in the heist.

Assuming not all members of the heist are particularly good at hiding their newfound wealth it won’t be long before the authorities come knocking, ready to take back all that cash.

When one domino falls so will the others, so with all the members potentially being hunted by the Spanish authorities, it can be expected that most of the season may become a cat and mouse game between the heist team and those who wish to bring them to justice.

Disenchantment – The Ululu Company

Disenchantment will soon be returning for more episodes in 2019 with its second half of season 1. Here’s everything we know about the upcoming season including how many episodes there’ll be, what we’re expecting, release dates and more.

If this is the first time you’re hearing of Disenchantment then take this opportunity to go and watch the first 10 episodes now on Netflix. Released last year in August 2018, Disenchantment was Matt Groening’s first big Netflix project. It rewinds the clock and takes us back to the medieval times and although there are some crossovers with Futurama it’s a brand new IP with all new characters. We follow Bean who wants to break away from her princess role and go on adventures and does so with a half-elf named Elfo and a Luci, a demon.

Reviews from critics weren’t the best for the series but audiences scores have fared better. As of March 2019, the series sits at a 7.2 on IMDb, 64% on Rotten Tomatoes and 56 on Metacritic.

7

Review scores for Disenchantment

Before we begin, it’s important to distinguish the difference between part 2 and season 2. Netflix sometimes splits up its shows into two halves and that’s the case for Disenchantment. Season 1 consists of two parts with 10 episodes apiece.

What will happen in part 2 of Disenchantment?

Caution: spoilers below

The series ended with Dreamland being essentially frozen over, Beane being taken to a foreign land accompanied by her mother and Luci likely being kidnapped or assassinated.

After the credits for episode 10 rolled, we saw Elfo washed up on a beach but picked up by what is rumored to be mermaids. Elfo discovered a little more about his past in part 1 of the show with it being revealed he’s only half-elf. Given how prominent magic features in the show some have predicted that in one way or another Elfo (voiced by Nat Faxon) is going to be revived in one way or another.

That’s not to say that characters will be around forever, though. Matt Groening has said: “very excited to continue this great journey with Netflix. Stay tuned for more cranked-up suspense, thrilling plot twists and beloved characters getting knocked off.”

Beyond just the main storyline, there’s a lot of other things that need to be answered about the universe. Josh Strangehill who works on the series has teased that all will be revealed in the future. Many have speculated this character seen below is somehow related to the actual race of Elfo.

Who will be returning for part 2 of Disenchantment?

9

Ted Sarandos, Billy West, Maurice LaMarche, David Herman, Nat Faxon, Eric Andre, Matt Groening, and Cindy Holland

The first part of Disenchantment featured some fantastic talent of which most will be returning for part 2.

  • Abbi Jacobson as Bean
  • Sharon Horgan as Queen Dagmar
  • John DiMaggio as King Zøg
  • Eric Andre as Luci
  • Tress MacNeille as Queen Oona
  • Matt Berry as Prince Merkimer
  • Lucy Montgomery as Bunty
  • David Herman as The Herald and others

Robin Atkin Downes has also been confirmed on the IMDb page to be returning to be doing some of the additional voices for the show.

Beyond the cast, music for the series will once again be provided by Mark Mothersbaugh who before Disenchantment provided music for Thor: Ragnarok, The Lego Movie and 21 Jump Street.

How many episodes will there be in Disenchantment part 2?

Once again, there are confirmed to be 10 new episodes which vary in length that will round out season 1 of Disenchantment.

When will part 2 of Disenchantment be on Netflix?

On May 16th, 2019 it was announced that part 2 of Disenchantment would be coming to Netflix slightly later than expected in September 2019.

The show will be returning on a Friday.

Up until the announcement we were expecting the show to arrive a year after part 1 did. Netflix has up until now held a release date on the show’s page saying part 2 would arrive in 2019.

10

Disenchantment part 2 release

Will there be more episodes after part 2 of Disenchantment?

Yes! Only a handful of shows have managed to gain multi-season orders from Netflix and in October 2018 Disenchantment joined the list.

When we first looked at part 2 of Disenchantment we highlighted an interview with Matt Groening (the creator of the series) who said that longevity is the key to his shows. This would imply that the show is intended for a long span on Netflix.

Right now, Netflix has confirmed there’s going to be two full seasons of Disenchantment coming. Season 2 has been confirmed to also be 20 episodes split into two parts again.

On the renewal, Netflix said: “We’re excited to continue this epic journey with Netflix. Stay tuned for more cranked-up suspense, infuriating plot twists and beloved characters getting knocked off.”

We now know that new episodes of Disenchantment will be coming out in 2019, 2020 and 2021.

Here’s how that release schedule pans out in our minds over the next few years.

Season Part Release Date
Season 1 Part 1 August 2018
Season 1 Part 2 2019
Season 2 Part 3 2020
Season 2 Part 4 2021

Other Disenchantment News

  • Expect merchandise for the show soon as Rocket Licensing has been named as the UK licensing agency. In the report, it says: “include apparel, accessories, and collectibles for adults.” Funko will create figures for the show and Kidrobot are said to be creating figures, keychains, and plushes.
  • Episode 15 or part 2 episode 5 has had a description uploaded to IMDb and says: “While Bean and Brick has involved in ventures, they go searching for the rescue of Zane. When bad things can go wrong. When Queen Dorgamon has envolved for Zog. He and his people will search out before the ritual starts.” – Brick looks to be a brand new character for 2019.
  • Luci appeared in a recent episode of The Simpsons in a Treehouse of Horrors episode:

There you have it. Everything we know about Disenchantment part 2. We’ve got more on all the upcoming animated shows here and if you’re looking for The Simpsons or Futurama on Netflix in the meantime, you’re going to be out of luck.

Comedians in Cars Getting Coffee (Season 11) – Courtesy of Netflix

Comedians in Cars Getting Coffee is returning for its second outing on Netflix in July 2019 but will be its eleventh season overall. Jerry Seinfeld has secured some top talent across the 11 upcoming episodes set to release on Netflix globally on July 19th, 2019.

The show that originally appeared on the now-defunct Sony Crackle was picked up by Netflix last year. It’s among the few talk-shows on Netflix with only My Next Guest Needs No Introduction by David Letterman being the only comparison.

Season 11, due out on July 19th, will see a familiar format with Jerry picking up comedians and celebrities in a different car each week and discuss all manner of subjects including their careers, what’s generally going on and life.

Who’s featuring in season 11 of ‘Comedians in Cars Getting Coffee’?

Season 11 features possibly one of the biggest lineups for the show yet.

Here’s the full list of who’s appearing in the new season and how many times they’ve featured on the show before:

  • Eddie Murphy (debut appearance) known for his massive movie library including the likes of The Nutty Professor, Dream Girls, Shrek and Coming to Ameria
  • Seth Rogen (debut appearance) known for movies like This is The End, Superbad, Pineapple Express and Knocked Up
  • Ricky Gervais (featured in season 1) known for stand-up and his Netflix series After Life and sitcoms like The Office and Extras
  • Matthew Broderick (debut appearance) known for his early role as Ferris Bueller but also starred in The Producers and WarGames.
  • Jamie Foxx (debut appearance) is probably the lesser-known comedian among this years lineup. He’s known for his movies such as Django Unchained, Baby Driver and Ray.
  • Sebastian Maniscalco (featured in season 7) known for stand-up but has featured in movies like Green Book, Tag and The House.
  • Mario Joyner (featured in season 1 & 4) and will become joint first with Jimmy Fallon in the number of appearances on the show. Known for Pootie Tang, Just Go With It and 3 Men and a Baby
  • Melissa Villaseñor (debut appearance) is mainly known for her current stint on SNL but her voices were featured on Ralph Breaks the Internet and OK K.O!
  • Bridget Everett (debut appearance) has had multiple roles beyond her stand-up including Patti Cake$, Little Evil, and Trainwreck.
  • Barry Marder (featured in season 1) is mainly known for writing including on Jerry’s own animated hit, Bee Movie.

What cars are going to be in season 11?

Thanks to some pictures released by Netflix we can expect a wide range of cars featured. We’re not car experts but we have managed to identify a few of the vehicles featured.

In the episode featuring Sebastian Maniscalco, we can even see Jerry ditching cars altogether in favor of perusing around on a couple of mopeds.

12

Jerry Seinfeld, Sebastian Maniscalco on mopeds season 11

In the episode with Barry Marder, it looks like it’s a Porsche 356B. Seth Rogen’s episode will feature a classic American muscle car which we believe is a Ford Gran Torino.

In the Eddie Murphy episode, we believe they’re driving a Porsche Carrera and Mario Joyner episode we believe they’re driving a VW Kubelwagen which translates to bucket car.

All of the previous seasons of Comedians in Cars Getting Coffee can be found on Netflix right now.

Before we depart, here are a few more stills from the production of season 11.

3Below – Copyright Dreamworks & Netflix

Part 1 of 3Below is out which kickstarts the second part of a trilogy of shows on Netflix known as Tales of Arcadia. The first 13 episodes will inevitably lead to Wizards but before then, we’re expecting several more parts. Here’s what we know about part 2 of 3Below and when it’ll be coming to Netflix.

In 3Below, we return to the town of Arcadia where Trollhunters was set. It’s about three aliens and their dog who crash land on Earth and have to find a way home to save their own homeworld.

It’s got many crossover elements with Trollhunters but can be watched on its own although it’s not advised. It’s integral to the overall trilogy created by Guillermo del Toro.

Tales of Arcadia is a three part trilogy and its final outing, known as Wizards is now confirmed to be coming out at the end of 2019. That means we’ve got several months to fit in at least another part but may even but up to 4 parts.

14

The release schedule for Tales of Arcadia

When will Part 2 of 3Below be on Netflix?

After a long wait for when part 2 will be on Netflix. We now know that part 2 of 3Below is releasing on Netflix on July 12th, 2019.

The title was included in the monthly roundups plus also tweeted out by several members of the cast and crew of the show.

Given the wording of del Toro’s tweet above, this could suggest that part 2 is set to wrap up the 3Below adventure. We’ve not had confirmation of this year but given Wizards is just around the corner, this series could be a lot shorter than Trollhunters.

What will happen in part 2 of 3Below: Tales of Arcadia?

One of the big challenges Aja and Krel will have going into the next part is the nosey neighbor managing to grab photographs of the pair in their natural form. He’s been a pest all throughout season 1 and will likely now expose them.

The ship is still crash landed on Earth with no foreseeable way of them getting home for now. Their mother and father are being regenerated again who will likely play a big role in part 2. Part 1 concluded with the fact that the main villain is now headed to Earth.

Every trailer for season 3 of Stranger Things

There has been plenty of teasers and trailers for Stranger Things so let’s take you back into a chronological order of when each tease was announced and shown off.

The very first video on Stranger Things 3 was a short 1 minute and 30-second video announcing that the show had started production.

The first teaser came a full year before season 3 would even release on Netflix. Back in July 2018, Netflix dropped the first trailer that teases the aforementioned new mall that’s coming to town.

The next tease came in December 2018 roughly a month after filming had wrapped on the shows third season. As akin to the previous seasons we were given a video look at the titles of each episode which also then confirmed the episode count for season 3.

Just a few weeks later as the clocks struck midnight and made way for 2019, we were then given the official release date for Stranger Things 3.

It was then five months later we got the first proper look at the next season in May 2019 in the form of its first trailer and an extended look at the pool scene featuring Billy.

Then, just a few weeks out from its full season 3 release we got the full “final trailer” for season 3 of Stranger Things.

Photos for Stranger Things season 3

Check out the latest images from the upcoming third season:

Are The Duffer Brothers still involved with Stranger Things?

Yes, absolutely. Despite ongoing legal troubles with the show, they’re still actively involved in the production of Stranger Things.

The Duffer Brothers are currently solely focusing on their efforts on Stranger Things given how intensive the show is. The pair were involved in Fox’s Wayward Pines during the first season of that show but given the show is currently on hiatus and their non-existent involvement in season 2, it looks as though they won’t be returning for writing duties there.

Shawn Levy, one of the other key executives working on the show is currently involved in the production of several other movies and working on this Netflix series. This year he’s had credits in Fist Fight and Table 19. Next year is the scheduled release of the movie The Darkest Minds and titles such as Atlantis 7, Cubed and Uncharted also has Shawn involved.

Is Stranger Things season 3 the final season

As you may now know, season 3 isn’t currently planned to be the final season. The show is scheduled to have four seasons although it’s been cited that it could extend to five.

One of the points Ross Duffer was key to point out is that he didn’t want the series to ‘linger on’ possibly referring to shows in the same genre such as American Horror Story which has lost its edge in later seasons. Ross was keen to point out that they want to tell the story they have to tell and simply get out afterward.

The cast has remained tight-lipped on season 4 of Stranger Things but some have suggested that production may have already started with some theorizing that season 4 could have even concluded filming.

Potential spin-offs for Stranger Things season 3

As of right now, there are no planned spinoffs. Ross Duffer in an interview stated it was ‘about focussing on this story’ and to ‘tell this story and tell it right’. The good news there, of course, is that the pair haven’t ruled out the possibility of a spinoff show and it’d be interesting to see what kind of direction it’d take.

Possible spin-offs could be:

  • A prequel series that follows the beginning of the experiments that take place at the Hawkins National Laboratory.
  • A series that follows Kali ‘008’ and her band of vigilantes.
  • Further survivors from the experiments (If any).
  • A prequel series that takes place when Joyce Byers and Jim Hopper were at school.

    Stranger Things Season 3

    Season 1 Recap: Stranger Things

    Hawkins Indiana

In the sleepy town of Hawkins, Indiana young Will Byers mysteriously disappears on his way home from playing Dungeons and Dragons with his friends Mike, Dustin, and Lucas. Will’s mother Joyce Byers is convinced Will is still alive and her suspicions come true when Will appears to be able to communicate with her through the electronic devices.

A young girl known only as ‘Eleven’ is being hunted by the Department of Energy that is experimenting on young children in the hope of using them as weapons against the soviet union. After her escape, she is found by Mike and is taken in by the young boy and hides in his home. Eleven is a special child and shows Mike some of her abilities like Telekinesis. When she reveals she knows who Will is and shows and where he is Mike, Lucas, Dustin, and El are in search for the ‘Upside Down’ a different plane of existence where Will is trapped. Will is also being hunted by a disgusting creature which the kids name as the Demogorgon.

Throughout the season Mike’s older sister is embroiled in a love triangle between her boyfriend Steve and Will’s older brother Jonathan. Her friend Barb disappears after she and Barb went to a party at Steve’s home. Waking up in the Upside Down, Barb is captured by the Demogorgon and her fate is left unknown.

Meanwhile throughout the season the Hawkins Sheriff ‘Hopper’ is investigating the mysterious DoE in the town. As he stumbles upon a conspiracy of Cold War weapons, Kidnapping and child experiments Hopper comes to the realization the DoE is to do with the disappearance of Will Byers.

    The Upside Down

In the finale, Will is saved by Joyce and Hopper after the DoE sends them into the Upside Down to look for him. Sadly the fate of Barb is confirmed and she suffered a grim death. When the DoE continues to hunt for Eleven, she accidentally summons the Demogorgon when it is attracted to the blood of dead soldiers that she killed with her powers. When the Demogorgon attempts to hunt down Eleven and the boys she uses her powers to sacrifice herself and thus killing the Demogorgon in the process.

With Will returning home to his family, there is peace once again in Hawkins. The families are celebrating Christmas, but all is not well with Will who still appears to be connected to the Upside Down. He throws up a baby Demogorgon into the sink and the creature disappears. Meanwhile, Hopper has cut a deal with the DoE but behind their backs is storing Eleven’s favorite food ‘Eggos’ in the wood. Heavily hinting her survival.

    Season 2 Recap: Stranger Things

The second starts with a car chase involving a group of young offenders escaping from the police. One of the girls uses a power to make a Police officer believe a tunnel collapsed causing him to almost crash the car. As the youths make their escape, the young girl wipes the blood from her nose and it is revealed the marking of ‘008’ indicates she is the 8th experiment of the Department of Energy.

Meanwhile, the boys enlist a newcomer into the group known as ‘Madmax’ who previously beat all of their high scores in the arcade. Will continues to get episodes of being in the Upside Down and witnesses a ginormous creature while there. After drawing the creature for his mother Joyce, she reveals the drawings to Hopper.

    Eleven’s return

The town of Hawkins has continued to experience strange incidents in the outskirts of town which have lead Hopper back to the DoE. Hopper expresses his anger with them, as he has been leading people away from them but in return, no trouble was meant to happen for the town. It is revealed that Eleven made it back from the Upside Down and has been taken in by Hopper. As Hopper continues to break small promises with Eleven she begins to grow frustrated with her isolation and leaves the cabin home to search for Mike.

    Relationships old and new

Nancy and Steve break up after Nancy reveal her true feelings about their relationship while drunk. Lucas and Max continue to grow close but Max’s brother Billy warns his sister to stay away from Lucas or he’ll do something terrible. Dustin has found a mysterious creature and has taken it in as a pet. Thinking he’s found a new species, the boys soon come to the realization it could be a baby Demogorgon and try to kill the creature. Dustin being fiercely protective, is able to hide the creature and take it home.

After refusing to run away thanks to the advice of Bob (Joyce’s Boyfriend), Will stands up for himself but is possessed by the giant creature when he has another episode. Eleven has a breakdown after she sees Mike with Max and mistakes their friendship for something more. After finding newspaper clippings, Eleven searches for her mother and upon finding her the traumatization from the DoE is revealed. Eleven discovers her real name is actually Jane.

Nancy and Jonathan racked with guilt tell Barb’s mother the truth. Listening in on the conversation the DoE take the pair to the Upside Down entrance and reveal the extent of the infection. They then leave Hawkins to find Barb’s investigator and that night the pair sleep together.

    The Upside Down Returns

After Will draws a series of mysterious drawings, Hopper investigates the fields and finds the series of tunnels shaped like Will’s pictures. He almost consumed by the fields but is rescued by Joyce. Hopper is shown the full scale of the Tunnels by the DoE and realizes the town may be doomed. The damage upon the tunnels is also affecting Will as it damages the creature that is dormant inside of him.

Dustin’s family cat is eaten by the creature so Dustin teams up with Steve to try and kill it. The creature is revealed to be a ‘Demodog’ and he is not alone. The gang takes refuge inside the junkyard bus and Steve arrives to save the day, scaring away the creatures. Meanwhile, Will, possessed again takes out the DoE workers inside the tunnels.

    008

Eleven is reunited with her sister Kali aka ‘008’ from the facility they grew up in. 008’s gang carry out vigilante justice upon those that have wronged them in the past. 008 also teaches Eleven how to use her powers and trains her to become more powerful. During a break in, Eleven almost kills a man with her powers, but when she remembers her friends she leaves 008 and makes her way back to help her friends in Hawkins.

    The Demodogs

The Demodogs attack the facility with Bob, Joyce, Hopper and Will trapped inside. Nancy and Jonathan return to town and meet up with the rest of the gang as they devise a plan to help those trapped inside the facility. During the escape, Bob heroically sacrifices himself so the others can escape.

Dustin comes to the realization that the creature controlling Will has the same powers as Mindflayer from Dungeons and Dragons. When the Demodogs attack once again, Eleven arrives to save the day and reunites with Mike. Eleven heads to the facility with Hopper to destroy the portal to the Upside Down once and for all.

    The Portal

Max’s brother Billy has been searching for her and confronts her and the boys. Max takes him down with a sedative so the boys can carry out their plan. The boys and Steve enter the tunnels and begin to destroy them. The Demodogs attempt to reach the portal being closed by Eleven but Hopper protects her with his gun ensuring she closes the portal for good.

Meanwhile Joyce, Nancy, and Jonathan attempt to rid the monster out of Will’s body. By using radiators and any extra heat they can use, the monster is exorcized from Will’s body and dissipates.

    One Month Later

Barb is finally laid to rest and is given a funeral. Hopper adopts Eleven and she is given the name of Jane Hopper. At the school dance, Mike and Eleven share a kiss, Max shares her first kiss to a delighted Lucas and poor Dustin strikes out. Steve had helped Dustin with his new cool looks but it was Nancy that saved the day and offered to dance with Dustin.

All seems well with the world but as the shot of the school pans out the world is flipped upside down and the monstrous creature has returned ominously watching over the school gymnasium.

    Plot: Stranger Things Season 3

The official synopsis for the third season is:

In mid-1985, when the box office was dominated by the presence of Back to the Future, Mike and Eleven have developed a romantic relationship, as have Max and Lucas. However, one year after the defeat of the Mind Flayer, things are not all that they seem in Hawkins. The town has a new leader, the morally corrupt Mayor Kline, whose administration supported and presided over the construction of the new Starcourt Mall. With the Fourth of July approaching, strange things start to happen: Lucas’ sister Erica discovers a mysterious new threat, and a lifeguard at the community pool suddenly disappears, triggering fear in those that still have the events from the previous year still fresh in their minds.

So a small time jump has been confirmed to take place. This makes sense to coincide with the growing child actors.

    Trailer: Stranger Things Season 3

Out of nowhere, Netflix has finally released the trailer for the third season!

The Duffer Brothers: Stranger Things Season 3

It does look as though The Duffer Brothers are currently looking at solely focusing on their efforts on Stranger Things given how intensive the show is. The pair were involved in Fox’s Wayward Pines during the first season of that show but given the show is currently on hiatus and their non-existent involvement in season 2, it looks as though they won’t be returning for writing duties there.

Next year is the scheduled release of the movie The Darkest Minds and titles such as Atlantis 7, Cubed and Uncharted also has Shawn involved.

The final season?: Stranger Things Season 3

As you may now know, season 3 isn’t currently planned to be the final season. The show is scheduled to have four seasons although it’s been cited that it could extend to five.

One of the points Ross Duffer was key to point out is that he didn’t want the series to ‘linger on’ possibly referring to shows in the same genre such as American Horror Story which has lost its edge in later seasons. Ross was keen to point out that they want to tell the story they have to tell and simply get out afterward.

Potential Spin-Offs: Stranger Things Season 3
