Queen & Slim

A young African American couple struggles to strike chemistry on their first date. Towards the end of the evening, their lives are unexpectedly transformed when a racist white cop pulls them over for a minor traffic violation. When the officer is killed in an act of self-defense, Queen and Slim are forced to go on the run. After being labeled cop killers by the media, the terrified couple becomes a national symbol for grief, trauma, and race relations when the initial incident is filmed and goes viral.
