A spiritual sequel to Get Out, this take on the hostage horror sub-genre follows a young African-American family who slip away to a beach house to enjoy a summer away from their ordinary lives. But when a group of masked strangers break into their home, they’re forced to fight for their survival. This isn’t any ordinary break-in. When the strangers remove their masks, they’re revealed to be duplicates of the family members, and both parents and children have to contend with their worst selves, get to the root of the mystery, and confront dark and repressed secrets from their pasts.
