Sci Fi Fidelity Podcast: The Innocents, The First, The Last Ship

Our monthly genre television podcast, Sci Fi Fidelity, is back for the September 2018 edition! Each month, Mike and Dave turn up the volume on shows in the science fiction, fantasy, supernatural, and horror fields that deserve your attention. Also included in each podcast is a discussion of a topic of particular interest and an interview with some of the creative talent behind the shows we love.

In the calm before the storm of new fall genre shows hits, we start the podcast this month with a discussion of some of the more peripheral new and returning series we’re looking forward to in the next month or so as a sort of fall TV preview.

Our show topics this month include a look at the first few episodes of Netflix’s new supernatural thriller, The Innocents, which premiered on August 24, 2018, and a spoiler-free preview of the Sean Penn vehicle on Hulu following humanity’s first mission to Mars, The First, which begins on September 14, 2018.

The interview is a must-listen for fans of The Last Ship as Bridget Regan joins us to talk about the show’s fifth and final season on TNT.
